Soulja Boy told Vibe magazine that he is taking over Tupac Shakur’s role in a remake of Juice.

In the 1992 original Tupac played Bishop, one of the members of “The Wrecking Crew,” who turns violent in his quest for juice (respect). Omar Epps played protagonist Q in the film.

On Wednesday, April 20 Soulja Boy released a new mixtape that he says will be the soundtrack to Juice remake. In his Vibe interview he said that some of the original cast members have reached out to be in the film, as did rapper Cam’Ron.
