Demi Lovato sings to a whole new tune.

After a three month stay in rehab treating bulimia, anorexia, bipolar and self harming, Demi Lovato opens up about her past and proves that she’s back and better than ever.

“I wasn’t going to continue to be alive if I continued to treat my body the way I was,” Demi said of her dark time, reported Showbizspy.com, and she added, “It’s going to be a daily battle and I’m not going to be perfect.”

Being in treatment changed Lovato for the better. She also made a few more changes, she reportedly won’t be returning to “Sonny With A Chance,” and will be dedicating more time to her music.

Almost a year ago, Lovato started recording a single “Skyscraper,” which became “symbolic” to her. According to E!, the first version was a message for her and when she sang it she broke down into tears.

As she focuses on her music career, she shares her completed new single with the world. Wednesday she released “Skyscraper.” She took to Twitter to share her excitement, “I am so proud and excited to share this with you! My video for #Skyscraper!!”

During a recent interview, Lovato spoke about the new song. She told host, Ryan Seacrest that the song “is about rising above those issues. That it’s going to be OK. No matter how hard your rock bottom is, you can rise above it and you can come back.”
