“True Blood,” isn’t the only highly-anticipated show on tonight. “Breaking Bad” makes a comeback at 10 p.m. and gives the famous vampires a run for their money.

Season 4 of the Sony Pictures Television produced show comes back after 13 months. Some are reporting that it could be “the longest cliffhanger in TV.”

For those new to the show, the series follows Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife Skyler, played by Anna Gunn and teenage son, played by RJ Mitte, who has cerebral palsy. White’s life takes a turn when he is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of only two years to live. According to www.amctv.com,  “with a new sense of fearlessness, and a desire to secure his family’s financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime, where he ascends to power.” He begins producing Meth to secure his family’s financial future before he dies– what does he have to lose?

Season 3 ends with Walter revealing his second life to his wife, Skyler. It doesn’t sit well with her, who promptly asks him for a formal divorce. Unlike the renewed relationship with his wife that didn’t happen, Walter did renew another relationship– Walter is forced back into a partnership with Jesse who threatens to rat on him if it comes down to it.  Click to read the Season 3 recap
