During the premiere of “Boardwalk Empire” fans got a glimpse into the next season of “Game Of Thrones”—HBO released a sneak peak into the next season.

The ultra-short trailer features only one piece of spoken dialogue,”The night is dark and full of terrors” and features the ring of fire. According to Screenrant.com,  it’s the mantra of the sun/fire religion that Melisandra serves and the religion and its symbolism are featured heavily in the rest of the book series which the show is based on.

Readers of George R.R. Martin’s book series, which the show is based on, “A Song of Ice and Fire,” already have an idea what’s coming in Season 2 from reading “A Clash of Kings.”  But according to the Associated Press, during a panel at Comic-Con, actors and executive producers from “Game of Thrones” offered up a few clues about next season anyway.

“For the second season, we’ve got a bunch of great new characters coming in. We’ve got such an incredible cast, but it’s time to meet the Red Priestess, and see those dragons and wolves start to grow up,” Executive Producer, David Benioff reportedly said,“There’s bad stuff lurking north of the Wall. It’s a season of exploration.”

Although no premiere date has been revealed for the sophomore season of the hit HBO show, it’s expected to return late spring.  The show first debuted in April with ten episodes.
