NEW YORK (AP) — Ndamukong Suh will get his appeals hearing right away. On Thursday afternoon, Suh will present his appeal of his two-game suspension for stomping Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith to Art Shell. The league handed out the suspension Tuesday, but Suh immediately appealed.



AP source: Leach agrees to be new WSU coach

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Mike Leach has reached an agreement to be the new football coach at Washington State, an official within the athletic department told The Associated Press on Wednesday. Leach reached a verbal agreement to replace Paul Wulff, but has not signed a contract, according to an official in the athletic department who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment publicly on the matter



Next legal step uncertain for O’Keeffe art at Fisk

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Fisk University’s decade-long quest to generate cash from a 101-piece art collection donated by the late painter Georgia O’Keeffe is one step closer to fruition.
