IMG 4573How To Make a Green Bean Casserole That Rocks

It’s almost Thanksgiving and pretty much every supermarket you go to these days has a display up of green beans and French-fried onions. Why? Because green bean casserole, while it may not sound like the most appetizing part of your Thanksgiving dinner, is a classic favorite that tastes a whole lot better than it sounds. Trust us. Besides, making it couldn’t get much easier.

Two 10- to 11- Ounce Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup

1.5 cups of milk (whole, 1%, 2% or skim, depending on your liking)

Four 14- to 15- Ounce Cans of French-Style or Regular Cut Green Beens (again, depending on your preference)

Three cups French Fried Onions

Mix Cream of Mushroom soup, 1.5 cups milk, four cans of green beans and two cups of French-fried onions together in an aluminum pan or baking dish. Heat oven to 350 degrees and cook for 30 minutes.  Sprinkle last cup of onions on top and bake another five minutes.

Let it sit five to 10 minutes and you’re golden.
