Mila Kunis kept her word and attended the Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina.

Earlier this year she accepted a YouTube invitation from Sgt. Scott Moore to the ball—She accompanied him to the event Friday night.

According to the Huffington Post, though no press was allowed inside the event, Marine spokesman Sgt. Scott Sasser said the couple had a good time and “it’s good that [Kunis] got to come on a date with a Marine.”

Back in July, according to the Washington Post, Kunis was asked about the invitation by FOX411 during the “Friends with Benefits” premiere, when her co-star Justin Timberlake said, “Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country.” Kunis replied, “I’ll go, I’ll do it for you,” referring to Timberlake.

Earlier, Justin Timberlake attended the 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Va. He escorted Corporal Kelsey De Santis, who asked him to be her date via YouTube video also.

“I’m writing this out to all of you after attending an event that turned out to be one of the most moving evenings I’ve ever had,” Justin Timberlake said on his blog after attending the Marine Corps Ball.

“I felt so proud to be there,” writes Timberlake. “I felt like I was getting a chance to be among my heroes.”

“For a short while, I had the opportunity to sit with Kelsey, get to know her and get a tiny glimpse into what her life as a Marine was like,” writes Timberlake. “She talked about her training in mixed martial arts with a passion, a discipline, and a respect. It reminded me of how I hear my favorite athletes talk about their sport or, how I hear my favorites among my peers in music and film talk about their craft.”
