A woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash near her Mattituck home on Wednesday afternoon, Southold Town Police said.

Georgene Monsell was driving on Middle Road when the crash occurred near the corner of Cox Neck Road shortly before 5 p.m., police said.

Officers found the 53-year-old woman to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated and will be arraigned Thursday at Southold Town Justice Court.
