3 Charged in Huntington Station Church Burglary

Two men and a juvenile have been accused of burglarizing a Huntington Station church early Wednesday morning.

Suffolk County police officers responded to an alarm at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on Ogden Court, where they found broken windows and an open door at 2:18 a.m., police said. The school area was damaged and food was stolen.

Canine unit officers helped track down the suspects for more than a mile before the trio was apprehended in the front yard of a house on Brompton Place two hours later, police said.
