An alleged drugged driver was behind the wheel of an SUV with a court-ordered interlock device meant to prevent him from driving drunk after a prior DWI conviction, Suffolk County police said.
A Canine Section officer pulled the driver of a Nissan Frontier for swerving between lanes on Patchogue-Holbrook Road in Holbrook at 9:36 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The driver, 34-year-old Justin Mullany of Blue Point, “appeared confused and was unable to locate paperwork,” police said in a statement.
He reportedly told officers that he was swerving because he was attempting to blow into the interlock device, police said.
Mallany was charged him with driving while ability impaired by drugs.
He was scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
