An alleged drunken driver was arrested for causing a crash that hospitalized three people on the Southern State Parkway in North Bellmore on Sunday night, New York State police said.
Angelo Graci was driving his BMW westbound when he rear-ended a Lexus at 10:45 p.m. near exit 25, Newbridge Road, police said.
Troopers said the 61-year-old Elmont man failed sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of 0.22 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

The driver of the Lexus and two of his passengers were taken to Nassau University Medical Center, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Graci was arrested for driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a accident with injuries and traffic violations.
He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead.
