The Long Island Rail Road is adding 16 extra trains Tuesday to accommodate New York Giants fans heading into Manhattan to attend the Victory Parade after their 21-17 win over the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
A ticker-tape parade honoring the Giants will start at the corner of Battery Place and Washington Street at 11 a.m. and head northbound up the Canyon of Heroes to Worth Street. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at City Hall Plaza, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg will present the Giants with keys to the city at 1 p.m.
The 16 added rush-hour trains include seven westbound morning trains and nine eastbound afternoon trains. MTA Police will be enforcing a ban on alcoholic beverages on LIRR trains and platforms and at stations all day Tuesday.

LIRR riders can take the subway to the parade from Penn Station by getting on the 1 to South Ferry or the 2 or 3 to Fulton St or Wall St.
