Armed Robbers Pistol-whip Man in Uniondale


Three armed robbers pistol-whipped a man during a mugging in Uniondale on Sunday evening, Nassau County police said.

The gunmen demanded money from the 26-year-old victim near the corner of Paff Avenue and Jerusalem Avenue at 7:40 p.m., police said.

The robbers threw the victim to the ground, kicked him and continued demanding cash before the victim handed over $20.

The gunmen then struck the victim on the head with the gun and fled the scene. The victim suffered bruising but refused medical aid at the scene.

The suspects were described as Hispanic men in their early 20s with light complexions—one with a large mole on the left side of his face—wearing dark colored clothing and dark hoods.
