A 73-year-old man has died after his Manorhaven house caught fire on Tuesday morning.
Authorities said Albert Rosen and his 70-year-old wife both suffered smoke inhalation.
She escaped the fire on her own but firefighters had to rescue him from the home when he went into cardiac arrest, Nassau County police said.

Police and firefighters responded to the blaze on Sintsink Drive West at 7:25 a.m.
More than 100 firefighters from the Sea Cliff, Glenwood Landing, Roslyn, Manhasset/Lakeville, Port Washington and Plandome fire departments extinguished the flames.
Arson Bomb Squad detectives determined the fire is not suspicious.
