Hempstead Fatal Stabbing Victim ID’d

Nassau County police have identified the man who was found stabbed to death behind a Laundromat in Hempstead over the weekend.

Police said Darwin A. Hernandez, 28, of Hempstead, was found dead of multiple stab wounds behind Laundry Palace on Clinton Street around the block from his Wellington Street home on Saturday.

Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
