Manorville Fire: 1 dead, 1 Injured

Suffolk County homicide detectives are investigating the discovery of a body in Manorville that was found after a house went up in flames, police said.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that one person is dead and another is injured. Arson Squad detectives are also on the scene investigating the cause of the fire, which started just after 9:30 a.m.

Police have yet to release the address of the house but narrowed the location to a residence on Eastport Manor Road.

Manorville fire officials weren’t immediately available for comment.
