Suffolk County police are looking for a hit-and-run that killed a 47-year-old pedestrian in his hometown of Setauket early Friday morning.

Joseph Santiago was struck by a westbound vehicle on Ridgeway Avenue at 1:20 a.m., police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Vehicular Crime Unit detectives are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information about the crash to contact them at 631-852-6555 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
