Five tips that prove what’s good for the “Soul” is what’s good for the Spirit!

Women gain confidence from wearing high heels however they can be detrimental to the health of your foot. According to a recent study from the Institute for Preventive Foot Health, uncomfortable and ill-fitting shoes are a serious problem. Shoes that force feet into narrow or pointy toes can cause bunions or hammertoes, where the toes curl unnaturally downward. We suggest you wear a lower heel with support so you can avoid any unnecessary pain or surgery.
After a long day at work, what is the first thing you do? Take your shoes off and relax, right? This is a very healthy practice and we bet you didn’t even know it. Sweat and dirt that build up in your shoes during the day will continue to wear on your feet afterhours. If you allow dirt and sweat to stay on your feet longer than necessary, you’re creating a breeding ground for athlete’s foot and other diseases.
Beach season is upon us and broken and ingrown toenails aren’t just hideous to look at, they’re also very painful. To prevent these ailments, make a point to regularly trim your toenails.
Shop for shoes in the afternoon. Feet swell as the day goes on and if shoes fit in the afternoon when your feet are at their largest, you can be assured they will always be comfortable.
Wash your feet each day in warm water. Dry them carefully, especially between the toes where moisture can develop. Apply lotion every day, but keep the area between the toes dry. Wear comfortable shoes and clean socks that don’t have holes or rough seams that could irritate your skin.
