Rick enjoys a long and storied tenure within the NY Auto Giant Group. From Lexus of Rockville Centre to Hyundai to Atlantic Honda, Rick’s stores have seen marked success. In fact, in 2010, Atlantic Honda was awarded the #1 Honda dealer in the nation and is a three-time Council of Excellence Award winner—testament to New York Auto Giant’s unparalleled dedication to customer satisfaction and sheer excellence.
General Manager: Leonard Cafarelli
Leonard enjoys a long history with the Toyota brand. With 28 years of experience from both the corporate side at Toyota Financial Services to managing Toyota dealerships, he prides himself on exceptional and innovative customer service, putting the customer always first and striving relentlessly for a unique experience that will keep them coming back for more, again and again and again. Spa treatments for customers (yes, you read that correctly, spa treatments for customers!) while they wait and keeping refreshments in the showroom to keep shoppers happy are just two examples of Leonard’s unique style.
General Manager: Troy Calabrese
Troy has been in the car business since he was 13 years old, when he got his very first job as a polisher at Massapequa Nissan. His love for automobiles only grew, and after earning his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany, he worked his way from inspector to parts, and finally to his true passion: used car sales. He’s become a trusted source of information and has earned the loyalty of a bastion of Long Islanders who wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for their vehicles.
General Manager – Ronnie DeTommaso
Ronnie has a varied history in the auto industry, from automotive and diesel technician to first floor, then sales, and finally general manager. He has led his team to two major achievements: the Mark of Excellence Award every consecutive year since 2007 and the prestigious General Motors Dealer of the Year Award in 2011.
General Manager: Keith Drago
Keith graduated from the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy, building upon 14 years of automotive high-line experience and key learnings from working as Internet manager for Audi, Mercedes, VW and Porsche, finance manager at Mercedes Benz of Fairfield, sales manager at Inskip BMW and general manager at Inskip BMW to bring Lexus of Rockville Centre—catapulting the dealership to even greater heights. During his tenure at Lexus of Rockville Centre it has received Lexus Elite Status recognition four years in a row and has been placed on the Lexus Top Ten Dealer list.
General Manager: Thabiti Lee
General Manager: Justin Haynes
As a student at Georgetown University, Justin took an internship at Penske Automotive Group that would prove to be the start of a beautiful career. After graduating in 2003, he began his ascent through the world of auto dealerships as a sales consultant at Inskip Infiniti in Rhode Island. From there, he moved up, from sales to Internet, finance and sales manager. He harnessed that experience into a job as the pre-owned manager for Lexus of Rockville Centre. When an opportunity opened up in 2009 to be the general manager of Atlantic Audi, Justin seized it. He led that team to become the tri-state area’s only Google five-star rated, two-time Magna Award-winning Audi retailer. So when NY Auto Giant acquired Anchor Audi and renamed it Audi Lynbrook, Justin was the top choice to lead the team.
General Manager: Peter Zorzy
Peter brings 23 years of automotive experience and customer advocacy to Atlantic Toyota. His record of success has followed him—from the Penske Auto Group, where he was the director of fixed operations, to the general manager position at Millennium Honda, where, until his transfer to Atlantic Toyota, he helped to lead the team in a positive direction. He’s trained that same eye for customer satisfaction on the Atlantic Toyota location and has enjoyed the success New York Auto Giant has come to expect.
General Manager: Chris Assmar
General Manager: Jason Montalvo
Under Jason’s watch, Atlantic Nissan has held its place as the number-one Nissan store in the United States for three months in 2009 and as number-two ever since. The youngest of the GMs in New York Auto Giant, Jason’s energy and focus have made him a force to be reckoned with. With 11 years in the automotive industry, Jason holds his place as one of the top-five tenured general managers in the group.
General Manager: Michael Rizzuto
Michael has been a general manager within the New York Auto Giant group since 1995. During his three-year tenure as general manager of Atlantic Nissan, he led the store to the high-ranking position as the number-one volume store in the Northeast region and number-three Nissan dealer in the country. He parlayed that success into his current position as general manager of Millennium Toyota, which has enjoyed its position as the number-one volume dealer in New York for each of his seven years there, earning the prestigious Toyota President’s Award and the Board of Governor’s Award for several consecutive years. Michael credits his focus on the professional training of his associates and on his emphasis on customer satisfaction in retaining his position as the overseer of high volume and high-quality service.
General Manager: Anthony Tocante
Anthony has followed a philosophy throughout his storied 24 years with the New York Auto Giant group—first as a finance manager, then sales manager, and finally as general manager at Advantage Toyota—that has allowed him to earn both the trust of his customers and the respect of his colleagues: “Treat each customer as we would a guest in our home,” he says. This mantra has led to a dynamic and successful career.
General Manager: Daniel Toomey
Daniel is a record-shattering producer, one whose abilities to surpass goals has earned him his place as the general manager of the number-one Hyundai dealer in the nation eight separate times and the number-two volume dealer four times. His focus, drive, and talent have been the driving forces behind the success of his 20-year career.
General Manager: Romain Perkins
General Manager: Dan Toomey Jr.
You could say Dan grew up in the car business, having started at 16 and returning after graduating college at SUNY Albany to climb the ropes, from finance manager to used car manager to new car manager at the Atlantic Auto Mall. The general manager of Advantage Hyundai, Dan’s success comes from his focus on high employee morale, knowing instinctively that happy and satisfied salespeople will be able to turn that positivity onto their customers, resulting in a favorable purchase experience. This philosophy has made Advantage Hyundai rise from 17th to sixth place in sales nationally, as the loyal referral base under his leadership return time and time again.
General Manager: Josiah Behler
General Manager: Ravel Mejia
Ravel’s hard work and dedication put him on the fast track to success. Only eight months after making his first sale, Ravel was promoted to sales manager at Millennium Toyota in Hempstead, where he excelled beyond expectation. This led to the general manager position at Millennium Honda, where, after eight years of exceptional work, he was asked to lead the team there as general manager. His continued dedication, commitment to his customers and friendly personality all contribute in equal parts to his record-breaking success.
General Manager: Paul Cunha
General Manager: Percy Urrutia
Percy’s 15-year career in the automotive industry has wound through the finance division of Koppel Nissan and then Queens Nissan to sales management at Atlantic Hyundai. His dedication to the customer and impressive dedication to hard work afforded him the opportunity to move to Millennium Hyundai as the general manager, where even more success surely awaits him.
