2 Men Injured in Wheatley Heights Shooting

One man was seriously injured and another wounded after a shooting in Wheatley Heights early Saturday morning, Suffolk County police said.

The two men—21-year-old Genesis Foster, who also goes by the name Kaurron, and 19-year-old Charles Harris—were shot multiple times at the Colonial Springs Shopping Center parking lot around 2 a.m., police said.

Harris was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. The Wyandanch man is listed in serious condition, police said.

Foster, a West Babylon resident, was driven in a private vehicle to the same hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police did not provide details about the shooting other than saying the two men suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
