Walk For Beauty
Time to put your best feet forward and help eradicate breast cancer in the process. This beautiful walk will be in a beautiful place for beautiful people. Cancer survivors, town officials and sponsors will all be participating, bonding together for this most important effort. African American Film Festival
This 10th annual festival will be showcasing African American films, along with performers. Contemporary artist Lorraine Nuzzo explores this concept with vivid abstract paintings that reveals her inner-most feelings with her latest series. With a combination of colors, lines, texture, shapes and composition, Nuzzo’s Charged! conveys an emotional state that grabs the viewer’s attention. Since the viewer is not distracted by meaningful images, one’s mind is stirred into feeling the energy and spirit of each painting, leaving its interpretation to the viewer’s unbounded imagination. The Man In Black is alive and well and singing his heart out in Patchogue. Well, his spirit is, anyway, as it is in the hearts and souls of all of us.
