Amityville Man Charged With Killing Man Found Dead in Manorville

A suspect has been arrested for allegedly killing a 36-year-old Amityville man whose body was found on fire in Manorville last week, Suffolk County police said.

Bryan RosalesMejia, 21, also of Amityville, was charged with second-degree murder.

Homicide Squad detectives alleged that the suspect killed German Guzman, whose burning remains were found within the Otis Pike Preserve off Wading River-Manor Road on Thursday.

RosalesMejia was ordered held without bail Saturday. He is due back in court Friday.
