A terminally ill woman was fond dead in her Flower Hill home on Nov. 11 and her husband was taken to a hospital and then arrested the next day, Nassau Police say.
Sixth Precinct Police officers arrived at the Fernwood Lane home after receiving a concerned call from the attorney of Rajasekar Sham, 68, who lived at the house with his 69-year-old wife, Lucila Sham. She was pronounced her dead at the scene, Homicide Squad detectives investigating the case say. Her husband was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Specific charges were not announced but are pending, according to a police spokesman. The investigation is continuing.
