The music scene on the Island is a close knit group; you don’t just go to a show on Saturday night to see the bands, you go to see your friends. Possessing a deep “DIY” ethos; Long Island bands book their own shows, promote their own shows, and if they want something to happen they don’t wait around for someone to hand it to them-they go out and make it happen.
