Univision, Disney look at English news channel
MIAMI (AP) — Two sources say Univision and Disney are close to a deal to create a 24-hour news channel for Latinos in English. Both sources, who are close to the deal, declined to go on the record Monday because they were not authorized to speak. The channel would likely be broadcasting before the November presidential election.
Calif. and NY considering foreclosure-abuse deal

Queen celebrates 60 years on throne
LONDON (AP) — Tributes poured in to Queen Elizabeth II on Monday as she marked 60 years on the throne with a message vowing to continue serving the British people. Dressed in a Tiffany-blue hat and colorful overcoat against the winter cold, she was greeted by well-wishers in the snow-covered town of King’s Lynn at an event planned to mark Accession Day, the anniversary of the day she became queen in 1952. “I love that the monarchy is above politics and feel that the queen represents that best of all,” said Laura Skrzynski, a longtime admirer of Elizabeth who joined the crowd of about 150 people applauding the queen’s arrival
Ga. court overturns assisted suicide restrictions
ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia’s top court on Monday struck down a state law designed to discourage assisted suicides after a legal battle brought by four members of a suicide group who said the law also violated free speech rights. The Georgia Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling concludes the 1994 state law “restricts speech in violation of the free speech clauses” of the U.S. and Georgia constitutions.
