There’s a reason salaries for Nassau police officers are the envy of the men and women in blue everywhere. Gary Dela Raba was president of the Nassau County PBA for two decades. Until he stepped down in 2008, he negotiated four contracts for his union members. He is now retired so now he gets time to lower his handicap. No duffer to begin with, Dela Raba has only sharpened his game because he can hit the links whenever he wants.
