Co-directors of Huntington’s Cinema Arts Centre
The Cinema Arts Centre was dealt a heartbreaking blow in 2010: Its co-founder, Vic Skolnick, passed away at the age of 81. But Vic’s family and co-directors—son, Dylan Skolnick, and widow, Charlotte Sky—have weathered the passing of the patriarch, and continue bringing a wealth of independent and foreign films to LI. CAC also offers workshops and Q&A sessions with directors and writers, among other programs. Most importantly, the Centre fosters a cultural oasis that can be found in few other places.
