The DA has been busy lately—as you may have heard, Suffolk County has a serial killer on the loose. Spota has pleaded for patience from the public as the case slowly progresses. Meanwhile, he threw quite the curve ball when he opted not to prosecute Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy after the county exec turned over his $4 million war chest to resolve a criminal investigation. We’ve now lost count of how many politicians Spota has taken down.
