An ex-Nassau County police commander’s attorneys argued Thursday before the New York State Court of Appeals that his conviction for covering up a burglary committed by his friend’s son should be overturned.
William Flanagan is now appealing to the New York State Court of Appeals.
Oral arguments were heard this week at an appeals court in Brooklyn.
Flanagan was found guilty of three misdemeanors and acquitted of a felony charge.
