Congratulations to 49-year-old Kelly Pickard of Oyster Bay for her award winning performance in the 18th annual David Lerner Associates Long Island Police Appreciation Run, held in Eisenhower Park on Thursday evening, June 11.
Kelly completed the 3.107 mile course in 21 minutes, 38 seconds, earning the 3rd place award in the 45-49 age group.
The Run was hosted by the Greater Long Island Running Club, with GLIRC’s Ira Eskow serving as the Run Director. Thanks go to David Lerner and all the outstanding people at Run sponsor David Lerner Associates for making it possible for the Long Island running community to say “thank you” to the great men and women of our local law enforcement agencies through this Run.
Thanks as well for Nassau County Police Commissioner Lawrence Mulvey for being on hand to support the event. Commissioner Mulvey completed the 5 Kilometer Run in 26:33.
