The Island Trees Bulldogs used solid pitching, clutch hitting and sparkling defense to capture the NJBL 2009 13U Central League Championship by sweeping the Massapequa Sharks two games to none in the finals.
This year’s Bulldog team was a total team effort with all 12 members contributing to the championship run. The Bulldogs finished the season with 17-3-1.
