Thomas Power, Pierre Brandt and Belle Santora Know Oyster Bay
Thomas Power correctly identified the Aug. 27 mystery picture in the Enterprise Pilot. He said, “It is the new building down in the park by the parking lot, and behind it is West End Avenue; and the back faces the sailing school on the Western Waterfront. It is by the boat ramps.”
Pierre Brandt called to add to the location even more exactly. He said, “It’s the new house built for the Oyster Bay firemen, housing the new rescue boat.”
Belle Santora called the mystery picture, “a piece of cake.” She said, “The building is the Atlantic Steamer Fire Company building at the beach for their boat rescue right on the water. It’s a beautiful building.”
Billy Minicozzi guessed it was a house in Bayville. On a sports note, he said, “The Yankees are going to the playoffs.”
