Herbert T. (Opa) Eckhoff, of Bethpage, died on Oct. 7, 2009. He was an avid Yankee fan. Husband of Loretta. Father of Patrick Morris (Tina), Barbara Happ (Norman), the late William Morris (Patricia), Thomas Morris, and Carol D’Abbraccio (Phil). Opa of 16 grandchildren and 21great-grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral service was held at the funeral home. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
