The Homicide Squad is investigating an incident that occurred on Oct. 22 in Garden City.
According to detectives, at approximately 10:13 p.m. Garden City police responded to a residence on Meadow Street where they discovered on the lawn the body of the decedent, Jairo Vasquez, unknown age and address, possibly of Hempstead, apparently the victim of stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:34 p.m. by a Nassau County Police Department AMT and was transported to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office where investigation is ongoing.
