Relive the Era of The Beatles

Temple Beth-El of Bellmore presents the cast of Beatlemania for a live performance. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. at 1373 Bellmore Rd., N. Bellmore. The cast (www.moptops.com) recreates the sights and sounds of The Beatles so faithfully that you will recall when the world was engulfed in the most pleasant fever of all: Beatlemania. Mommas House Gala

The Mommas House annual gala, a cocktail party, will honor three former resident, Cherise I., Catherine P. and Katie McD., who have overcome many obstacles to become successful young women. Come and hear their stories. The gala will be held at the Brookville Country Club, Brookville. Tickets are $150 per person. Dinner Dance

As part of the year-long celebration marking its 150th Anniversary, St. Ignatius Loyola Parish will be holding a Dinner Dance from 7 to 11 p.m. in Msgr. Tarrant Hall, E. Nicholai St., Hicksville. Holy Trinity HS to Present The Crucible

Bowling Fundraiser

A fundraiser for the Spc. Daniel A. Fuentes Memorial Scholarship Fund is being held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Farmingdale Lanes. The $20 per person includes three hours of bowling, pizza, soda and a camouflage wristband. Raffle prizes. Children ages 6 and under are $10. Food Drive

The Center for the Alignment of Body, Mind and Spirit, 2050 Wantagh Ave,, Wantagh, will be sponsoring a food drive from 1 to 4 p.m. All donations of non-perishable food items will be given to Long Island Cares: The Harry Chapin Food Bank. Long Island Cares provides emergency food where and when it is needed, sponsors programs that help families achieve self-sufficiency, and educates the general public about the causes and consequences of hunger on Long Island. To thank you for your donation, you will have the opportunity to meet the staff of health care professionals and receive a gift card for complimentary services, including chiropractic, acupuncture, therapeutic massage, reflexology, nutrition counseling and spiritual counseling. Korean War Veterans of NC Chapter #1

Bingo For Kids

Spend an afternoon having fun with your family at a special bingo designed just for kids. At Temple Beth-El. 1373 Bellmore Rd., N. Bellmore you can play bingo for prizes such as toys and books. Admission is $5 per player. An adult must accompany the children. Adult play is optional. Bring a marker or purchase one at the event. The snack bar will be open and serving a variety of reasonably priced items such as pizza, soda and ice cream. No food can be brought with you into the temple because strict kosher food laws are observed. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with play beginning at noon. Group packages can be arranged with two weeks advanced notice and a 25 percent deposit. (Minimum of 8 children). At least one adult for every four children must be present. The adults do not have to play. Price is $8 per child. Includes bingo games paper for two hours of play, slice of pizza (from Hunki’s Kosher Pizza in West Hempstead), and a can of soda or water.
