Voice of the Faithful
Northwest Nassau Parish Voice Affililate was formed by faith-filled Catholics in the wake of the sex abuse crisis in the Catholic Church to support victims of abuse, priests of integrity and to call for the restructuring of the church. The Infancy Narratives: A Discussion and Comparison
How many Infancy Narratives are there? In which books of the Bible are they found? Three Magi are usually shown bringing gifts to Jesus Christ in a stable. How many Magi were there? Do we know their names? Where did they find him? Msgr. Charles A. Guarino will discuss questions such as those listed above, compare the Infancy Narratives and comment on our culture’s treatment of them. 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 37 Chestnut St., in the Saint Agnes Room. Chiari 1 Malformation, Syringomyelia Informational Meeting
An informational support group meeting, focusing on day-to-day coping techniques. Have your questions answered, meet new friends, learn more about your condition and provide support for a loved one or a friend. The American Syringomyelia and Chiari Alliance Project is a 501 (C)(3) and has been helping those newly diagnosed, and providing funding grants for research since 1989. Joe Crookston Serenades the Garden Stage

The Imperial Presidency of Alvaro Uribe
Award-winning journalist Mario A. Murillo, an associate professor at Hofstra University and former host of Wake Up Call on WBAI Pacifica Radio in NYC, will talk on “The Imperial Presidency of Alvaro Uribe: Human Rights in Colombia,” offering an overview of the state of human rights in Colombia in the midst of the ongoing internal conflict. The Floral Park Knights of Columbus hosts an annual Christmas Blood Drive and this year the Blood Drive will be held in loving memory of Emma, Alyson, and Kate Hance. The Hance Family Foundation Blood Drive will take place at Our Lady of Victory School in Floral Park, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Please help preserve the memory of these wonderful children and help to save countless other lives by donating blood on this day. Holiday Music Concert
