The parents vs. players match was well worth the one-week delay as the weather was most cooperative with unusually warm temperatures for this late November Saturday. Unfortunately for the parents, things were not quite as bright. They took a double dose on the chin and left the field with the most dubious string still in tact – “0” forever. The junior players lit up the scoreboard with an even dozen tallies. Sammy Duggan and Arta Zulbeari each scored a “hat trick”, while Kyle Hanratty, Tristan Yang and Chris Cooney each scored twice. Brittany Anderson had a great assist while contributing to this high-powered offense. The parents managed to score 8 times but it was an obvious case of ill preparation as they just ran out of steam and couldn’t keep up with the well-conditioned athletes. The seniors also easily handled the parents, 5-2. After a stellar first half which saw goals by Debbie Chin, Harrison Stein and Stefani Egre, the parents regrouped and refocused in the second half. Fighting back gamely, them managed 2 lucky goals by Kevin Oster (who hand a hard pass just bounce off of him and direct the ball into the goal) and a tap in by Krys Abberton. The players showed why they deserved to win as defender Robert Vittiglio pushed forward with the 4th score and Stefani put away the last goal. Andrew Abberton was rock-solid in midfield frustrating the parents all morning.
This program is successful because of the wonderful group of assistants who come out each week to work with the athletes. Krys, Jessica, Katie, Matt, Mary Jo, Rich, Katrina, Jessica, Brian, Danny, Kevin, Matt, Kelly, Paul, Andrew, Victoria, James, Kevin, Jeremy and Curt comprise our super team of coaches. Special thanks to Rich and Matt for helping with the equipment and Mary Jo and Brian for their unselfish dedication to the program. Thanks to the families of the players who are truly a special group to work with. Rich Bletsch, Director

Championship Game
Cute Cats Vs. Lady Cheetahs.
The beautiful game was just that in this hard fought nail bitter. These little ladies played there hearts out. At the end it was the Cute Cats who edged out a very strong Lady Cheetahs club. The lone goal of the game came off the foot of Mary Grace Spano who placed the ball just inside the far side post. Combined with shut down goal tending by Nora Higgins and Haley Lorenzo the Cute Cats proved up to the task. Defense by Megha Gopal was stellar. Playing both sides of the ball were Catriona O’Shea, Aisling McGrath with offense by first year player Lea Bazigos. All the girls on the pitch played the game to its fullest leaving the coaches & parents proud. For the Lady Cheetahs Julia Aranov, Jillian Fager, Andrea Bouzos, Vrisida Bouzos, Chloe Chu, Kiele Hwee, Jenna Ward and Lindsey Raimondi all played with the hearts of champions. Thank you to them for there top notch competition. A special THANK YOU to all the players and parents of the Girls U8 Division for another successful season of Wild Cats Soccer.
