Obituary – Michael Gavin

Michael Gavin, born 1932 in Liverpool, England, raised in County Galway, Ireland, passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Farmingdale on Nov. 18, 2009. Retired longtime employee of UPS, Manhattan. Husband of Sarah. Father of Michael, John, Martin, Patrick, James, Bridgette Ann Nolan, John, and the late Evelyn Agnew. Grandfather of Angela Callonas, Gavin and Sarah Walsh, Amanda, Alexa, Collene, Christopher, Daniel, Kelly Jean, Ashley and Kaitlyn Gavin. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Nov. 23 at St. Kilian RC Church with interment following at St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx. Donations in Michael’s name may be sent to Adelphi University Breast Cancer Program (One South Ave., P.O. Box 701, Garden City, NY 11530).
