John Robert Andersen II, 60, of Fort Myers FL, former longtime resident of Oyster Bay, died on Nov. 28, 2009. He was a retired longtime employee of the Town of Oyster Bay and former member of CSEA Local #881 and Atlantic Steamer Fire Department. Husband of Victoria. Son of Marion and the late John Robert. Father of John Robert III, James G. (Janet). Grandfather of Andrew Charles and Rylee Bridget. Brother of Aina Gentile, Carin Andersen-Perez and Carl. Brother in-law of Susan (Dan) Halstead. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held in Oyster Bay at a later date.
