William Francis Smith, of Bethpage, passed away on Feb. 7, 2010 at the age of 80. Husband of Patricia. Father of William III (Anne Marie), Joseph (Cindy), Theresa (Jack), Rev. Fr. Kevin, Ann, Peter and Patrick. Grandfather of William IV, Christopher, Thomas, Kevin, Patrick, Brigid, Brian, Will, Tess and Madison. Brother of Kathy and the late Dorothy. WWII and Korean Conflict veteran of the U.S. Navy. Retired NY Telephone electrical engineer. Lifetime 4th Degree Knight of K of C Joseph Lamb Council. Arrangements were made by Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic RC Chapel. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
