Muriel Carpenter, of Farmingdale, passed away on Feb. 25, 2010. Wife of the late Russell. Mother and mother-in-law of Charlene and Kenneth Tortoso, Russell W. and Barbara, Gary and Christine and Richard Nelson. Sister of Dorothy Johnstone and Alice Donahue. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Cremation was private.
