Helen M. Courtney, of Bethpage, formerly of North Massapequa, passed away February 25, 2010. Partner of Harry Cummings. Predeceased in 1979 by her husband, James J. Courtney. Mother of Mary Bencivengo (Charles), Paul (Heather), Clara Blodget (Bob), Claudia Geier (Bill), James (Joan), Christopher (Patricia), Helen (Tony) and Brian (Susan). Grandmother of 19. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held March 1 at St. Kilian RC Church with interment following at Calverton National Cemetery. Donations in Helen’s name may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
