Obituary – John E. Oest

John E. Oest, of Bethpage, passed away April 2, 2010. Employed at Grumman for 28 years. U.S. Korean War veteran. Husband of the late Michelina. Survived by his companion Helen Nelson. Father of Carol Roberts, Lois Profeta, Cynthia Bergstrand, Ruth Oest and Dorothy Fitzgerald. Brother of Lois DeGroff. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 ½ great grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. A funeral service was held April 6 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery.
