You Need a Score Card to Know the Players

The Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Venditto, along with the leaders of the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Youth Athletic Association Bob Santos and Andrew Galgano, and the children and coaches of the Little League, proudly unveiled the newly refurbished Ralph Marino Park on Saturday, April 10.

It was complete with natural grass – sod, since it had to be ready for use this season, as promised by Supervisor Venditto – authentic foul poles down the base path lines, as well as home run fencing to help give the Little League members and their coaches a great venue for the great game of baseball.

There is also a small area with benches with a view of home plate. The retaining wall is arranged so that it provides some additional seating. An American flag flies over the scene. Everything works together to make a nice addition to the hamlet. (There are two baseball diamonds and a small soccer field in the sports complex, as well as a shed for storing equipment and a bathroom for the players.)
