Obituary: Mary Sangermano

Mary Sangermano (nee Abbate), 95, lifelong resident of Oyster Bay, died peacefully on May 10, 2010. Wife of the late Michael Sr. Mother of Vincent (Jeanne), Elizabeth Bishop (David), Michael Jr., Maria SantAngelo (John), Tina Scadin (David) and the late Paul. Grandmother of Jennifer Balmanno (Scott), Gena Kowert (Lorne), Vincent Sangermano (Monet), Paul Sangermano, Mary Bishop, Ariana SantAngelo and Gabrielle SantAngelo. Great-grandmother of four. Also survived by brothers, Eugene Abbate (Frances), Sam Abbate (Marie) and Angelo Abbate (Charlotte); and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic’s RC Chapel. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
