I would like to introduce myself. My name is Cory Twibell and I am the new editor of the Hicksville Illustrated News.
As I embark on this new relationship with the community, I find myself in a similar situation as the one former editor Victoria Caruso-Davis reflected upon in her remarks last week on becoming editor of the paper.
I am certain, however, that in due time, I will be immersed in all that Hicksville has to offer and look forward to forming many quality relationships with members of the community. I’m not a stranger to Hicksville – I have written for the paper and also could very well have eaten a burrito next to you at Chipotle.
I am aware that the shoes I’m filling are quite enormous, but I will do my best to maintain the standards of a thorough, objective and informative newspaper each week.
