Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano recently honored the 2010 Adelphi University women’s lacrosse team for winning their second straight NCAA Division II title. The Adelphi Panthers defeated West Chester University to win the championship. “I want to congratulate the Adelphi Panthers for their remarkable effort in winning their second NCAA title. Two championships in a row is a great achievement, and these talented student athletes have made their university community and their county very proud,” said County Executive Mangano.
