Chamber Players International
Presents Vivaldi Fest at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, 1395 Planting Fields Rd., at 2:30 p.m. The concert will be a program of Vivaldi concertos in the arboretum’s newly renovated Italian garden and will feature the complete Four Seasons. Performers will be internationally renowned violinist and member of the New York Philharmonic Anna Rabinova, supported by The Voxare String Quartet. The concert is free and open to the public. Meadow Wildflowers Hike
Muttontown Preserve will host a guided hike from 9 to 11 a.m. The hike will include the exploration of several meadows, upland woods and trails as well as displays of more than 30 species of wildflowers. Enrollment for the hike ($5) is limited and preregistration is required by calling 571-8500 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The hike will begin at the Bill Paterson Nature Center on the preserve, Muttontown Ln., south of 25A, East Norwich.

Long Island Bonsai Society
Meets at 7:30 p.m. in the main greenhouse classroom at the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay. The early workshop will be Backyard Bonsai Stands.
