Congratulations to the Oyster Bay Cross Country team for their performance in the Northeastern Championships at Brown University on Saturday, Oct. 16.
Joe LaCorte earned a medal for his 13th place finish with an outstanding time of 16:40. Joe led the boys’ team to a 13th place finish out of 28 teams. He was followed by Patryk Tauter, Steven Tortora, Nick Mavros, Chris Kulis, TJ Butler and Andrew Kenn.
Nicole Giannetti earned a medal in the girls’ race, placing ninth overall with a time of 19:40. The girls’ team placed 12th out of 23 teams, thanks to outstanding races run by Lauren Burke, Linda Cameron, Brook Mahoski, LeeAnne Dillmann, Christine Drexler, and Adrianna Henriquez.
