Carl Bernard Larsen, a proud veteran of World War II, extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away on October 8, 2010 in Annapolis, Maryland at the age of 85.
He grew up in Queens, lived for over 30 years in Bayville, a decade in Basye Virginia, and finally in Annapolis, Maryland home of the U.S. Naval Academy.
Sixty years ago he married the love of his life, Margaret Morris. His son Carl B. Larsen (Tulinda) now resides in Annapolis and his daughter Kim Larsen (Jim Etkin) now resides in Brooklyn. He was the treasured grandfather of Bryce Larsen, Jenny Larsen, and Abe Etkin. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Waterman First Class aboard the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard in the Pacific Ocean and was a member of the Fleet Reserve, Annapolis.
